Griffin Sher is a litigation attorney handling cruise ship passenger personal injury claims and crewmember claims as well as non-maritime personal injury claims and is licensed to practice law in all Florida Federal and State Courts. Mr. Sher was born and raised in Miami and spent his youth in the South Florida marine community as a boater, deck hand, dive instructor and holds an international yacht crew certification. After deciding to become a lawyer, Mr. Sher attended law school a Tulane University and participated in the oldest maritime law curriculum in the United States and graduated Cum Laude with a certificate of specialization in maritime law and received a CALI Legal Excellence Award as the top performer in Maritime Personal Injury.

Mr. Volk undertook his legal education at Tulane University Law School, widely renowned as hosting one of the preeminent programs in the United States for its Admiralty & Maritime Law curriculum. There, he attained his Juris Doctor degree alongside a prestigious Certificate of Specialization in Maritime Law, and received awards as the top scholar for courses in Advanced Marine Insurance, and Towage & Offshore Services.
In addition to his academic achievements, Mr. Volk has a range of practical experience in maritime litigation. During law school, Mr. Volk served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, for the Honorable Sarah S. Vance, a tenured federal judge with an extraordinary reputation for presiding over maritime and admiralty related lawsuits.
